Make a Stick Chair- Friday 10/2, 1-5pm & Saturday, 10/3, 8-5pm

Inspired by Irish and Swiss traditional design, the chair was designed by Grant Howard of Holdfast Craft who also happens to be BW's Operations and Education Manager. Beginner/Intermediate skill level recommended. Students will learn the basic vocabulary, tools and mechanics of mortise and tenon joinery and traditional stick chair (pre-Windsor) construction.

NOTE: This class is held over two days - Friday from 1-5pm, and Saturday from 8-5pm.

Unique Chair Features:

-Mortise & tenon joinery

-Solid wood, no metal

-Low front stretcher for heel rest

-Deep carve saddle

CANCELATION/ REFUND POLICY: All deposits are non-refundable. For classes paid in full, a refund or credit will be provided to you, so long as notice is given via email, at least two weeks prior to the class date. Although it rarely occurs, sometimes a class doesn't reach the minimum attendance bar. If attendance isn't met 1 week prior to the class date, the class will be canceled and you will be notified. You will be given the option of either a refund or credit for another class.
